is the Sony a6300 a good camera

The reason the A6300 is worth twice as much as the A6000 is because Sony fixed all the little things that make me shoot fast and take my shot with the A6300. Although the pixel count remains the same, the a6300’s sensor has a whopping 425 phase detection AF points spread across the sensor. Now I’ll set my A6300 for my shooting styles and set each to Memory 1 and Memory 2 positions on the top control dial for easy recall. The A6300 locks for approximately one second when you switch the mode selector between Memory 1 and 2 settings.

how much does Sony a6300 cost

It seems that my concern is in vain, as the A6300 has a 47-page manual, while the NEX-7 had 211 pages. Along with the super-fast autofocus, compact size and great hand feel, it was a joy to shoot with the Sony A6300. The A6300 is undoubtedly a very good camera, but when you consider the price, it’s clear why so many people are much better off buying an entry-level DSLR. Believe it or not, I really love the Nifty Fifty and this 52.5mm equivalent worked perfectly with the a6300.

Will Sony a6300 be discontinued

The Sony a6300 is a surprisingly reasonable option for those looking for great performance in a small body. Note that the A6300 is discontinued, but you may still be able to find it bundled with a lens or with special offers. Both housings have disappeared from Sony’s list of interchangeable lens APS-C E-mount cameras, and both housings are also listed as discontinued on the B%26H website. The A6100 and A6300 share the same 24.2 MP APS-C sensor, but the A6300 lacks the front-end LSI chip that increases processing speed.

While both cameras work in a similar way up to 6400 ISO, the a6300 shows better control over chroma and luminance noise at 12800 and 25600 ISO. In terms of design, the Sony A6300 has, as expected, a magnesium alloy body, known to be a durable yet lightweight material, considering that the camera is a very decent size and for this reason it is recommended above all for travelers. The a6300 offers uncompressed 14-bit raw output and 16-bit image processing for raw images, allowing optimal image quality adjustment in post-production. With multi-phase detection points across the sensor, the a6300 also tracks more effectively when you use lock-on-AF with the wide focus range.
